A Texas Wedding Venue With Flexible Vendor Options
Bring your own food, liquor, vendors and decorations, subject to Reverie approval, or have Reverie source and manage them. Two requirements apply — licensed security when alcohol is served, and wedding liability insurance.
Why vendor policy belongs on your comparison sheet
Two venues can quote a similar rental fee and end up thousands of dollars apart once vendor rules are applied. An exclusive caterer sets your per-plate price. A required bar package sets your beverage cost. A preferred-vendor-only list quietly removes the photographer you already booked.
Reverie at Diamond D takes the opposite approach: you bring your own food, liquor, vendors and decorations, subject to Reverie approval, or Reverie can source and manage them for you. That is the actual policy, stated plainly, and it is one of the main reasons couples working to a real budget book here.
There are two requirements, both safety-related, and they are listed below in full rather than buried in a contract.
Bring your own catering
No exclusive caterer and no per-plate minimum set by the venue. Choose the food that fits your budget and your family.
Bring your own bar
You supply the liquor. Licensed, insured security is required whenever alcohol is served.
Bring your own creative team
Photographer, videographer, DJ or band, florist, baker, coordinator and decor are all your choice.
The Rules, In Full
Exactly what is required — and nothing hidden behind it
We would rather over-explain this than have anyone surprised during contracting. These are the requirements that apply to vendors and events on the property.
Anything not listed here is your call. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, ask us before you book it and we will give you a straight answer.
- A Reverie-sourced police officer is required if alcohol is being served
- Wedding liability insurance is required; most policies cost around $100
- Everything else — caterer, bar, photographer, DJ, florist, baker, coordinator, rentals, decor — is your choice
Decor
A decoration library you can use for free
Beyond vendor freedom, there is a collection of pieces on site that booked couples use at no extra charge. Couples routinely build an entire ceremony and entry look out of it.
We also work with booked couples on their plans for decorations and outdoor activities throughout the property, subject to venue approval.

Budget
What vendor freedom is actually worth
The savings show up in the line items you control: catering per head, bar, cake and rentals. When a venue does not mark those up, the same wedding costs meaningfully less — or the same budget buys noticeably more.
