The best bachelor weekends in Texas do not usually involve a hotel. They involve a truck, a cooler, a lake and a group of people who do not get to be in the same place very often.
Reverie at Diamond D is private ranch acreage outside Normangee — two stocked lakes, open pasture, a farmhouse that sleeps up to ten, and space to park campers for anybody who would rather bring their own bed.
We handle bachelor weekends by inquiry. Availability depends on the wedding calendar, so tell us your dates early and we will be honest with you about what we can do.
Fishing Included
Both lakes are stocked and available for catch-and-release fishing. Bring your gear and settle the tournament however your group settles things.
Enjoy the Property
The kitchen is full-size, there is room to spread out outdoors, and the weekend gives your group time to settle in together.
Sleep On Site
A three-bedroom farmhouse for up to ten, plus room for campers on the property. Nobody has to drive anywhere.
The Property
Acreage, Two Lakes and Nobody Around
This is not a rented cabin with a shared boat ramp. The property is private for the length of your stay: two stocked lakes, open pasture, and a barn and covered pavilion that can come into play depending on what else is booked.
It sits close enough to Bryan, College Station, Madisonville and Huntsville that people can drive in after work Friday, and about two hours from Houston for anybody making the longer trip.

The Farmhouse
A Real House, Not a Bunk Room
The farmhouse is 1,800 square feet with three queen bedrooms, two full bathrooms and two sofas that convert for four more. That's up to ten people with actual beds and actual showers.
The kitchen is full-size — oven, stovetop, dishwasher, full fridge and freezer for everything you hauled in, plus dining for eight and a smart TV for whatever is on Saturday afternoon.
