Most corporate retreat venues in Texas are hotels with a rented ballroom attached. Your team drives forty minutes, sits under the same fluorescent light they left behind, eats a plated chicken lunch and calls it a change of scenery.
Reverie at Diamond D is a working ranch property outside Normangee, roughly 50 minutes from College Station and two hours from Houston. You get a private venue: an 80 x 80 barn for the general session, a covered pavilion over a nine-acre lake, two stocked lakes, open pasture and a farmhouse for the leadership team to stay in.
Companies book us for annual planning weekends, sales kickoffs, department offsites, board retreats and end-of-year celebrations — usually because they want the conversation to keep going after the agenda ends.

A Barn That Configures Like a Conference Room
The barn is 80 x 80, draped in white and lit with chandeliers, with 21 eight-foot rectangular tables and 150 chairs already on site. That is enough furniture to run a general session in the morning, break into pods after lunch and reset for dinner without renting anything.
Bring your own screen, projector and sound, or keep it low-tech — plenty of teams find that the point of coming out here is getting people off screens for a day.

Every team leader knows the good stuff never happens during the slide deck. It happens while spending time outdoors at dusk, or on the bank of a lake at seven in the morning with two people who never talk in meetings.
The property is built for that part. Both lakes are stocked and available for catch-and-release fishing, and there is plenty of room to spend time outdoors. The on-property farmhouse sleeps up to ten so the group is not scattered across three hotels, and campers are welcome for anyone bringing their own.
