Cannon & Caroline's Wedding at Reverie at Diamond D

The ceremony

They said their vows on the dock, with the lake behind them and the covered pavilion framing the aisle. The pavilion arbor was draped in teal, and white chairs lined the gravel aisle leading down to the water. Their attendants walked in ahead of them — red and burgundy dresses against the green of the property — and the recessional ended in a burst of colored smoke.

Golden hour

They took portraits by the lake as the sun dropped: the two of them at the water's edge, the wedding party walking the gravel drive, and family gathered under the arbor while the light turned gold.

The reception

The reception moved into the hall, where a lit LOVE marquee sat behind the sweetheart table and a chandelier hung over the dance floor. Black table linens with burgundy runners, dark floral centerpieces, and a teal geode cake on its own table. A food truck handled dinner outside. Guests lined up, ate, and came back in for toasts.

Then the dance floor filled — first dance under the chandelier, line dancing, the bouquet toss, and a group of friends who did not sit down again. Key-shaped bottle openers and koozies went home with guests as favors.

"My husband and I had the most amazing experience and we truly couldn't have picked a better place for our special day! Reverie at Diamond D was the absolute perfect place for our wedding day! The venue is so beautiful and everything about it was a dream come true! The owner is amazing and helped us with so much throughout our engagement and wedding day! He made sure everything was ready to go and he helped us set up that way everything would run smoothly on our wedding day! He is also very understanding and flexible, he let us go out to the venue multiple times throughout our engagement because we wanted to see where we would put things, what we still needed to get, and etc. I totally recommend this venue to anyone who's engaged and looking to find the perfect place for your big day!!! 🤍"
